In September Yuko Shimizu, Tomer Hanuka and I will be having a three person show at The Society of Illustrators in New York. I’ll have a couple of new pieces, as well as some process material and reference on display. Our thanks to David Rhodes for his generous support in helping to make this show possible, Tim O’Brien for conceiving of this in the first place, Attack for their wonderful work on the flyer, and everyone at The Society for their help and patience while we put this all together. For anyone interested in seeing the show or attending the opening, information is below.

Blow Up
Fluorescent Black
Jillian and I just got back from comic con and had a chance to see Nathan Fox’s brand new Fluorescent Black, collected into a beautiful hardcover book. I did a pin up for the gallery section in the back(above). Nathan is a super talent, and this book does not disappoint. Check it out if you haven’t already.
On an unrelated note, I had a wonderful time in California. Thank you to everyone for making our trip out there so amazing.
Studio Spaces Filled
We’ve filled the studio spaces, thank you to everyone for getting in touch.
Studio Space
As I’ve said before, I’m lucky to work around a lot of really talented people. In 2006 Grady McFerrin, Chris Neal, Zach O’Hora and I found a great studio space(in an old Pencil Factory) in Greenpoint Brooklyn. Since then a lot of other amazing illustrators and designers have moved into the building, it’s a wonderful work environment that I consider myself fortunate to be a part of. We did a fun project together a few months ago(we’d like to do more), it even won some awards. Currently Chris, Grady and I are looking for two people to join our space, as we say good bye to a couple of friends. The details are below. If you’re interested send us an email.
Two studio spaces available.
Rent: 450 a month each.
Space: 144 square feet(the smaller of the two is 8′ x 18′)
